My love of dogs dates back to 1971, when my parents gave us our first dog. From that date, I cannot remember a time when I did not have a constant canine companion. After talking with many of my friends and fellow dog lovers, I found that a lot of people where already sending cards from their dogs. Wouldn't it be great if I could create an entire line of cards, 'written by dogs'? The answer to that question was yes, and in August of 2004 I was inspired to start a small greeting card company called Dog Speak. The company name and concept was established and now a year later, in November of 2005, the dream has become a reality. As you may already know, Kirby, the CEO of Dog Speak, is my constant companion, my best friend and my inspiration. Kirby's picture is on the back of every card - she wanted it that way! | |
